BASIN is a submersible UV-C system engineered for cooling towers, evaporative condensers and open water basins. It lays into the basin and continuously treats the recirculating water — reducing Legionella risk, controlling biofilm growth, and minimizing chemical treatment requirements, all while protecting heat-exchange surfaces from biological fouling. Built from submersible UV-C lamp assemblies in quartz sleeves with stainless-steel mounting hardware and IP68-rated housings, it's ruggedized for continuous immersion and scalable from a single lamp up to eight, so it sizes to basins from small systems to large condenser-water loops. With integrated PH/ORP/UV-C sensing through Cognituv Connect, it delivers continuous measurement and verification of water quality and dose — turning basin hygiene into a monitored, chemical-light process.
BASIN lays submersible 253.7 nm UV-C lamp assemblies into the cooling-tower basin so recirculating water is treated continuously — inactivating Legionella and other microbes, suppressing the biofilm that seeds scaling and corrosion, and cutting chemical biocide demand. Ruggedized IP68 housings and stainless mounting scale the system from a single lamp to eight, and integrated PH/ORP/UV-C sensing feeds Cognituv Connect for dose and water-quality verification.
