The FreshFilter Wall-Mount HVAC Purifier (FreshFilter-ME) is an easy-to-install, energy-saving retrofit for exterior-mounted and modular HVAC systems. It mounts to the outside of the air handler — laying into the unit's drain pan for a zero-footprint fit — and combines on-coil UV-C purification with self-regenerating PCOR nano-filtration to continuously clean both the cooling coil and the circulating air. Keeping the coil free of mold and biofilm restores heat transfer and airflow, lowers energy and maintenance costs, and extends filter life, while UV-C and PCOR reduce airborne pathogens, VOCs and musty odors. Built with corrosion-resistant, wet-rated materials and a low-profile design, it's engineered for wall-mount packaged units common in modular buildings, portable classrooms and trailers (e.g., Bard- and Eubank-style HVAC). Available in 1-, 2-, or 4-lamp configurations and Cognituv Connect–enabled for wireless monitoring and verification.
FreshFilter-ME mounts high-output 253.7 nm UV-C lamps at the cooling coil — with a reflective parabolic design that maximizes intensity on the coil surface — while self-regenerating PCOR filtration treats circulating air for VOCs, odors and pathogens. The unit lays into the exterior HVAC drain pan for a zero-footprint retrofit on wall-mount and modular packaged systems.
