The Cognituv GRID system is an engineered on-coil UV-C solution for continuous treatment of the cooling coil inside an air handling unit. Built from magnetic telescoping brackets and clip-on high-output UV-C lamps, GRID mounts directly at the coil to keep it free of mold, biofilm and biofouling. As the coil stays clean, airflow and heat transfer recover, energy use drops, and indoor air quality improves — with no filters to change and no recurring manual coil cleaning. GRID scales from a single-lamp fan-coil kit to multi-row arrays on large built-up air handlers, and every kit is configured to the coil it treats.
GRID places high-output 253.7 nm UV-C lamps a few inches off the cooling-coil face so mold, bacteria, and biofilm are treated continuously. A clean coil restores heat transfer and airflow, which lowers fan and compressor load — without filters to change or recurring manual coil cleaning.
