The VENT PTAC Air & Coil Purifier is a compact, high-output single-lamp UV-C kit engineered for packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) systems, unit ventilators and compact air handling units. Magnetic-mounting and shielded for universal placement, it installs inside the unit so its germicidal 253.7 nm UV-C treats both the in-unit cooling coil and the air the unit delivers to the room. Keeping the coil free of mold and biofilm protects airflow and efficiency, while continuous UV-C reduces airborne pathogens for cleaner room air — a fit for hotels and multifamily buildings standardized on PTAC units. It's offered in three output levels (40W, 60W, 90W) to match the unit and duty.
VENT places one high-output 253.7 nm UV-C lamp inside the PTAC or unit ventilator so its output reaches both the cooling coil and the airstream the unit delivers to the room. Compact magnetic mounting with a shielded lamp fits the tight interiors of PTACs and compact air handlers — offered in 40W, 60W and 90W to match the unit.
